Annual ForestKeepers Conference – Friday, October 13, 2017

September 7, 2017

This Year Missouri ForestKeepers will experience a stop on the Great Missouri Birding Trail while learning about the impact of forest management on birds. To begin, Forestkeepers will meet at August A Busch Conservation Area for check in and then head over to Engelmann Woods for a view of the woodland TSI work being done and the mesic forests. Then it’s back to Busch Conservation Area to look at stands treated and untreated for honeysuckle. Hopefully there will be some great bird sightings along the way as well!

After lunch, Missouri ForestKeepers will present awards to recognize those that did exceptional work in 2016 and participate in a focus group to help build the future of the Network.

Participation is Free but RSVP is required by October 1st. Non-members are welcome and lunch and a light breakfast will be provided.
